Connecting to Zendesk

Our Zendesk connector makes it a breeze to sync your Zendesk tickets to Caravel. To get started, first ensure that you have proper access to your Zendesk account to authenticate third-party connections. Also, you'll want to make sure you have your Zendesk subdomain handy.
If you don't know your Zendesk subdomain, you can find it here.
Once you have these two things, navigate to Connections in the main nav menu and select Connect on the Zendesk option.
Zendesk connection option
If you have already authenticated the Zendesk connection, this button will say Select instead. You can click Select to edit the subdomain and authenticate a different Zendesk account if needed.
In the resulting screen, input the unique id of your Zendesk subdomain into the input field. Your subdomain will be <unique-id>.zendesk.com.
Be sure to only enter the unique id into the input field and not the full <unique-id>.zendesk.com subdomain string.
Zendesk connection authenticate form
Hit Authenticate and you'll be redirected to Zendesk. If you're already logged into Zendesk you should be good to go. You can go back to Caravel and your connection is ready for you to use.
To start syncing data from your Zendesk connection, you must create a Source that tells Caravel which tickets to import.
